1. Using SQL Enterprise Manager create new database Edutizer. Good initial size is 30 Mb. Please choose correct collation for the database to match the primary language of the content.

 

2. Grant the edu_user public access to the database.

 

3. Open SQL Query Analyzer and connect to the Edutizer database.

 

4. From the installation CD folder /core run these scripts in this order

 

tables.sql

functions.sql

storedprocedures.sql

triggers.sql

 

5. From the same folder, open the script default_site.sql. Edit it to set the password of the Edutizer supervisor user. You will find the instructions in the script file.

 

6. Run the edited default_site.sql

 

The database is almost ready.
