Avaialble authentication schemes
Edutizer provides following authentication schemes:
Plain authentication scheme is based on user name and password being stored in Edutizer database. relies on all users logging into same Windows domain, that Edutizer server is a part of. Edutizer server must be either part of the Local Intranet zone or Trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer. Integrated authentication scheme works only with MS Internet Explorer browser. provides single credentials functionality for Edutizer users - user name and password are checked against Kerberos KDC. Edutzer can be configured to use only one realm. Mixed authentication scheme is suitable for enviroment where most of the users log into Windows domain and can use integrated authentication, while some of the users still have to enter their Edutizer user name and password. SSL certificate scheme allows to deplay variuos PKI client certificate schemes, including, for instance, Estonian ID card.
