XML training import
Edutizer supports importing trainings and training registrations from an XML source that uses Edutizer import/export XML schema. You can also look at the sample training import XML data file.
There are two modes for importing training data: strict and loose.
In the strict import mode (default) Edutizer assumes that following conditions are met:
- every training in the XML file has a unique_id property set
- all registrations are passed every time, students not listed in the XML source will be removed from training
- handle empty unique_id property values
- only add new student registrations, existing ones will not be removed.
- assume that there is no more that one training with the same training code active at the same time.
Open Training import tab under server settings.
Choose XML as training import schema.
Enter XML import URL.
Note for OTA users: enter servlet URL with the ?export=2 (2- for user export).Business Unit Id (Country) will be added automatically.
You have two configuration options:
- Delete unlisted trainings - trainings not listed in the XML source will be deleted.
- Input data is partial data only - checking this setting will switch edutizer into loose import mode.
