Enabling WebDAV integration
WebDAV intragtion module enables teachers to browse and link documents from WebDAV document repository into course books. Student can access these documents without explicit access to the WebDAV repository itself, document will be proxied. WebDAV intragration is an additional Edutizer module and requies a valid license key (see ). Module architecture Teacher and Student Edutizer application access WebDAV server through ASP.NET proxy scripts located in /webdav folder. These scripts utilize /nsoftware IP*Works V6 .NET components for actual protocol implementation. ![]() IIS configuration 1. Install .NET Framework 2.0 on your webserver (if it is not already installed). 2. Open IIS Manager. 3. In Web Server Extentions section, enable ASP.NET v2.0.xxxx web service extention. 4. Open /webdav folder settings. 5. Create a new application for this folder. 6. On the ASP.NET tab choose correct ASP.NET version (2.0.xxxx) ASP.NET scripts in /webdav folder dfo not utilize Edutizer authentication framework and tehrefore leave your WebDAV repository open to access for eduticated non-authorized users. To prevent this, limit access to the /webdav folder. 7. On the directory Secuity tab click Edit... button in IP addresses and domain name restrictions pane. 8. Check the "Dy default all computers will be Denied access" radio button. 9. Add your webserver IP address to the expetions table. 10. Save settings. Edutizer confifuration 1. Open Edutizer Administrator interface. 2. Install license key for WebDAV integration module 3. Open server settings on the Documents tab. 4. Check the Enable WebDav integration checkbox. 5.
