Test engine features
Edutizer test consists of one or more test parts. Each test part can have one or more questions. One question can be used in one test only once. The same question can be used in any number of tests.
Test engine presents student with one question at a time. Questions from only one test part are loaded at a time. So if the test has three parts student will have to answer the questions of the first part before starting the second part and so on.
Student can answer or skip the question. If the student skips the question, the question will be put at the end of the questions query. If the student marks an answer and skips the question, the markings will be saved and shown to the student the next time around. If the test engine ends test part due to time limit end, the marked answers will be counted and given answers.
Questions in the test part will be shown to the student in a random order. The answer choices for each question will be shown in random order each time the question is displayed.
Each test part must have title and time limit. Test parts also may have directions. The directions for the first test part will not be shown to the student.
While doing the exercise test, the time limit set by creator will be observatory – if student falls out of the time limit, this will not end the exercise. During the exam test student will have only the time set by the test creator to complete test part.
Tests can be multi-level. Multi-level test’s parts must have defined positive result, message if success and message if failure. The positive result, in per cent, sets the minimum accepted performance for this test part. If student scores more than positive result, the text of the message if success along with the next part’s direction will be shown to the student and the next test part will be started.
