Importing questions from Word document

Edutizer allows teachers to import questions from MS Word documents. Currenlty the import process supports opnly questions of these two types:

  • Questions with one correct answer (YV)
  • Questions with one or more correct answer (MV)

Question type is determined automatically during the import procedure. Also the import procedure will try to automatiocally continue numeration of the questions in the folder.

In order to successfully import questions from Word document, the document must confirm to a certain standart. Please download this sample document and observe the comments on the formatting.

To import questions from Word document, choose the folder into which you are planning to place them, and click (new) Import questions from Word menu item.

Click Browse button to select the document from you computer, set questions' difficulty level, usage class and points.

Note: All imported questions will be saved with these properties. If you wish to have different properties for different sets of questions, prepare separate word documents.

Now select (save) Import questions.

You will be shown preview of all questions Edutizer was able to identify in your document. If Edutizer did not find all questions or displayed an error message check the formatting of your Word document. Plese note that questions without any correct answers will be ignored.

To save all displayed questions, simply choose (save) Save questions.

To import only a few of shown, check the checkboxes in front of the questions you wish to import and then click (save) Save questions.
