Test backups
Edutizer allows you to export and import tests from one server to another using the tests backups. Edutizer backs tests up in proporietary format EDT, which includes all questions, related folders and, naturally, test data.
To create a test back up
Open test properties in Teacher application, and click (save) Export test.
Edutizer will propmt you for the file name, default is selected test name plus current date.
Click Save button.
File with the provided name will be created in _export subfolder of the Documents folder on the Edutizer server.
You can download the file from that location and, for instance, send to another Edutizer user in another organization.
To restore test from a backup EDI file
Upload the EDT file to the Edutizer server via Documents menu item in the main menu.
Click Tests in the main menu of the Teachers application.
Click (new) Import Test.
Click Browse button to point to the location of the uploaded file.
Choose folder, under which Edutizer will restore the test. Edutizer will create subfolders with questions from the test under this selected folder.
Click (save) Import test.
