Dangers of modifiing user data in case of configured user import

If your Edutizer installation is configured to import user data from external source (e.g. Active Directory) then be aware of the following implications:

1. Any changes you make in the user attributes that are imported, will be overwritten on next import (probably within 24 hours)

2. Changes in the integration attribute values (most probably personal code or worker ID, ask you administrator) may result in

  • creation of second account for the student
  • import conflict, if two or more accounts exists with the same value of the attribute

3. Changing users login name may

  • disable student to login into Edutizer
  • course import conflict.
